At Midwest Crappie Hunters, we cast our line for more than just fish. As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we are on a mission to foster mental awareness, promote environmental stewardship, uphold nature resource conservation, and foster community engagement—all through the beloved sport of fishing and outdoor activity.
About us
Founded on the belief that fishing isn’t just a pastime but a platform for positive change, Midwest Crappie Hunters brings together a community of like-minded individuals who share a passion for the great outdoors. With a commitment to leaving our environment better than we found it, we strive to educate and inspire others to become stewards of nature while enjoying the simple pleasure of angling and enjoying the great outdoors. Several members within the organization are certified with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources with Angler R3. Our main focus is to generate a positive impact by ensuring that the outdoors is accessible to every individual within our diverse community.
What We Do
Through our dedication to the cause, we actively promote sustainable fishing practices, organizing educational programs and providing recreational opportunities for individuals of all ages. Whether you’re a seasoned angler or simply beginning to explore the waters and the outdoors, we welcome everyone to join us in our pursuit of making a difference. We aim to connect the community to the outdoors, fostering a sense of belonging and discovering the full potential within.
